Please support the Middle School Remodel!

Drummond middle school classrooms are getting a much-needed renovation!  To facilitate the collaborative teaching strategies, the two middle school classrooms will be located adjacent to eachother with a door linking them.  This means that Mr. Gonzalez will switch rooms with Mr. Z.  While the remodeling focuses primarily on the middle school, we are repainting 306 also to welcome Mr. Z into his new space, room 306!The middle school will now be located in rooms 305 and 307.  Both rooms will get new flooring and new furniture as well as new white boards and fresh paint.

 Our school community is coming together to paint the new middle school space next week, August 8-14. While the volunteer time is priceless, the cost of paint and supplies is not. Paint prices alone will be at least $1000. We also will need to purchase supplies. Any amount you can donate will be most helpful and appreciated!

Friends of Drummond, or FOD, is a registered 501(c)(3) organization whose sole mission is to raise money to support Drummond Montessori School. All cash gifts are tax deductible.


 

Drummond Montessori is a unique CPS magnet school that has been educating students using the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori for 10 years. Students are encouraged to become independent learners, critical thinkers and active members of our global society. Drummond provides a free public Montessori education--that is typically only in private schools.
